Sandra Kerndter was worn the 18th of February 1968 in Stubben, Germany. She spent her untroubled childhood in the countryside.
After her trainig as restaurant manager, she gathered experience in various hotels and restaurants. In 1991/92 she successfully achieved her degree as Batchelor of Hotel Management.
In the following years, she took up management positions and worked as a trainer in the hotel and catering industry.
Last Sandra Ahrens worked as a sales manager in an organic bakery in Germany. Sandra takes care of "culinary management" of the company, as well as sales.
Christoph Kerndter, born the 17th odf January 1968 in Bonn, Germany, grew up as a child of German-French parents.
After studying English, he turned to the catering, where worked as a chef for over five years. After working as a hostel manager in Co. Sligo and as chef in an irish pub in Germany, he looked for other challenges and turned to IT.
Besides looking after his own company ( Achill Online Internet Services) , Christoph takes care of the marketing and organization.
Chris and Sandra are proud parents of two little girls. Lily Helen was born the 11th of November 2006, Hanna Erin was born in Castlebar on the 28th of April 2008.
In summer 2007 Chris and Sandra decided to emigrate to Ireland. After their wedding on the 10th of November 2007 they traveled to Achill to prepare everything. The were accompanied by a film crew that did a documentation of the preparations for the emigration. The documentary was shown in Germany on the 8th of January 2008 in the programm "Good-Bye Deutschland - Die Auswanderer".
